Project: "Implementation of practical and theoretical teaching for persons deprived of liberty"

Client: Penal Correctional Institution Pozarevac - Zabela

Implementation time: 20.04.2023. – 01.09.2023.

Project goals: Academia Educativa implemented theoretical and practical training for persons deprived of liberty in Penal Correctional Institution Pozarevac - Zabela for REL and MAG welding and baking training - for making bread, burek and puff pastry products. A total of 48 participants successfully completed the training.

Project: "Support for independent living - a new beginning" within the Program ,,European Union Support for Social Housing and Active Inclusion"

Period of Implementation: 06.04.2023. –  06.07.2023. godine

Project goals: Academia Educativa educational center in Sabac implemented vocational training for the professions of female hairdresser, beautician and manicurist-pedicurist. The trainings were successfully completed by eleven beneficiaries who were awarded certificates of professional competence. On that occasion, twenty-three families belonging to the most sensitive social groups received the keys to furnished and equipped apartments.

Project goals: The project goal included the implement IT courses for residents of the Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Resocialization of People Suffering from Addiction Diseases "Land of the Living" in Cenej, Vilovo and Slankamenacki vinogradi.

Project goals: The objective of the project is the organization and implementation of vocational trainings for the users of the Krnjača asylum center within the project "Providing assistance to refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs in Serbia" funded by UNHCR and implemented by the Danish Refugee Council.

Project: "Organation of professional trainings in correctional institutions in Serbia"

Project goals: The objective of the project is the organization and implementation of vocational trainings for the employees and convicts of correctional institutions in Novi Sad. Belgrade (Padinska Skela), Pozarevac (Zabela), Sabac, Sremska Mitrovica, Subotica and Valjevo.

Project: "Employment of Roma nationals in Belgrade in jobs developed during the COVID 19 pandemic"

Project goals:  Implementation of English language courses for 20 users of Roma nationality from the territory of the City Municipality of Zvezdara, and vocational trainings for 30 users of Roma nationality for the vocations that are most in demand on the labor market in this period (pedicure-manicure, make-up artist, hairdresser, painter, pizza maker, cook, etc.).

Project: "Service of training and organization of taking a professional exam for the performance of vulcanizing jobs and metal turning jobs"

Project goals: The objective of the project is the implementation of vocational training and preparation of the professional exam for the performance of vulcanization work for 4 persons and metal turning work for 1 person.

Project: "Training for health and safety at work"

Client: Ministry of Defense - Serbian Army

Implementation period: 12.09.2022. – 02.11.2022.

Project goals: Academia Educativa implemented the training for safety and health at work in VK "VGI", at the military airport "Colonel-pilot Milenko Pavlović" - Batajnica, in the quarters of "Topcider" and "Knezevac" for 85 members of the Serbian army.

Project: "Employment through vocational trainings for Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia"

Client: German organization for international cooperation GIZ with expert support from GFA consulting group GMbH

Time of realization: 14.01.2022. –  16.09.2022.

Project goals: As part of the German development cooperation program "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia", which is implemented by the German organization for international cooperation GIZ Academia Educativa organized professional training courses for beneficiaries in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Šabac, Čačak, Gornji Milanovac and Kruševac. within the project "Employment through vocational training for Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia". A total of 100 trainees were selected to participate in professional training programs, 41 for cleaning and maintenance occupations and 59 for food preparation and processing occupations. The trainings were carried out in cooperation with the partner companies Trgocentar and Immo Clean. After successfully completing vocational trainings and passing final exams, participants were awarded certificates of professional competence for selected occupations, and 70% of users were employed by the partner companies. The implementation of vocational trainings economically strengthens the position of Roma men and women and other members of marginalized groups in Serbia, since it encourages them in their active search for work by contributing to the acquisition of better qualifications for performing a certain occupation.

Project: "Implementation of vocational trainings in Belgrade, Valjevo, Leskovac and Novi Becej"

Client: German organization for international cooperation GIZ with expert support from GFA consulting group GMbH

Time of realization: 16.03.2022. –  16.09.2022.

Project goals: As part of the German development cooperation program "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia", which is implemented by the German organization for international cooperation GIZ Academia Educativa organized professional training for users in Belgrade, Valjevo, Leskovac and Novi Bečej. In cooperation with the Roma women's center Bibija, 53 Roma women and men received various types of support from mentors, counselors at the National Employment Service, after which they attended vocational training programs for the desired educational profiles. The implementation of vocational training courses economically strengthens the position of Roma men and women and other members of marginalized groups in Serbia, since it encourages them in their active search for work by contributing to the acquisition of better qualifications for performing a certain occupation.

Project goals: Academia Educativa organized lessons in Serbian and other foreign languages for elementary school Roma children in Belgrade within the project "Education for better inclusion" financed by the Roma Education Foundation (FOR) and implemented by the Center for the Education of Roma and Ethnic Communities (CEREZ).

Project goals: The implementation of the vocational training program for various professions is intended as providing support not only to Roma children and their families, but also to the entire Roma community through the implementation of informal education programs in Belgrade and Novi Sad, the awarding of grants for work tools and the provision of support for the establishment and running your own company or related collaboration.

Project goals: The project of German development cooperation "Implementation of active employment measures for Roma and marginalized groups in the city of Belgrade" is implemented by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation with the support of the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ). One part of the project is aimed at supporting marginalized groups to improve their skills and increase employability.

Project: "Achieving Inclusive Socio-Economic Development through the Encouragement of Entrepreneurship and Roma Employment funded by German Development Cooperation and implemented by GIZ"

Project goals: The general goal of the project is to improve the socio-economic position and social inclusion of members of the Roma community, improve their living conditions and reduce poverty. The specific goal is to increase the employability of Roma in the sector of production and business services, by increasing motivation through the implementation of vocational training.

Project: "Improving parental competencies and developing partnerships of all participants in children's development"

Project goals: "Improving parental competencies and developing partnerships of all participants in children's development" was implemented by lecturers Biljana Lajović, graduate psychologist, special advisor at the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, Slavica Djordjevic, law graduate, coordinator of the Working Group for educational institutions’ secretaries of RS and Irena Mucibabic, pedagogical advisor, external associate of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for protection against violence. The education was organized for representatives of local self-government and preschool institutions with the aim of preventing problems in the community and developing responsible and confident children.

Project: "Empowering the Roma population in terms of employment opportunities"

Project goals: Vocational trainings seek to provide an answer to the needs of modern society for developmental, functional, basic and additional education and training through practical and functional programs. Within the project, trainings were organized for 20 users for occupations: chef, pizza baker-master, pedicure-manicure, make-up artist, car mechanic, electrician, etc.

Time of realization: 10..08.2020. –  20.10.2020.

Project goals: Academia Educativa implemented basic and advanced first aid training for 38 employees in Kragujevac and Krusevac. The training was performed in groups, and the employees received certificates for providing first aid upon completion of the training.

Project: "Individual assistance service to Roma children in mastering school curriculum"

Project goals: Academia Educativa organized additional individual classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, Serbian and English for Roma pupils from the municipality of Zvezdara to help them master the school curriculum and prevent dropping out of school.

Project: "Training, education and instruction of agricultural producers, organizations, institutions and associations in the field of agricultural production"

Time of realization: 03.12.2019. –  27.06.2020.

Project goals: The main goal of the training is to raise awareness, information and level of knowledge of members of registered agricultural farms about the principles of organic production in accordance with modern technologies. The theoretical part of the training included lectures and workshops in Bukovac, Kisac, Begec and Kac, while the practical part of the training included a study trip which was realized from June 24 to 27, 2020.

Project goals:The overall objective of the project is to improve the socio-economic status of young Roma women through vocational training programs. Project goals:Academia Educativa has implemented basic and advanced first aid training for 650 employees. The training was carried out in groups, and upon completion of the training, employees received first aid certificates.

Project: "Education on the preservation and improvement of reproductive health of adolescents"

Time of realization:04.12.2019. –  10.12.2019.

Project goals:Academia Educativa has implemented an educational project on the preservation and improvement of adolescent reproductive health. The target group of the education consisted of young people aged 14 to 16, who are (statistically) in the most risky group in terms of sexually transmitted diseases, juvenile pregnancies and abortion. Pupils in primary and secondary schools in the territory of this municipality had the opportunity to attend a series of lectures and gain basic knowledge by experts on issues related to reproductive health.

Project goals:Academia Educativa has implemented professional training services for persons deprived of their liberty for the needs of an industrial facility at the Niš Correctional Institution. The training included the theoretical and practical part and knowledge assessment. Participants who have successfully completed the training program and who have passed the final exam have received certificates of professional competence.

Empowering young Roma families III

Course Goal: The realization of informal education of 40 young Roma men and women from Belgrade and Novi Sad through the realization of vocational training programs for various vocations is envisaged to be set-up with a focus on the needs of the children, their families and the wider Roma community in terms of grants for work tools, support for establishing and running their own company or linked cooperation.

Course Goal:Additional classes of basic school subjects for Roma children aged 7 to 14 from the municipality of Zvezdara were delivered to prevent early school leaving.

Course Goal: Provision of trainings for selected occupations, for up to 200 trainees from vulnerable groups of youth (age 18-35) with particular focus on returnees, Roma and potential migrants. The measure focuses its efforts in selected labour market policy measures: skills trainings for known employer or for the labour market in order to enhance the opportunity for employment.
